I think your advice to pick a few important ones and stick to it is spot on. There aren't enough hours in the day to stack 100 health hacks together.
I wonder if there is value in keeping a core set and cycling others in and out. Im not aware of any peer reviewed research on this, but powerlifting wisdom is that your recovery techniques give you diminishing returns over time. It's common place to have your core principles, sleep, eat, train, rest all year round. Then cycle in and out sauna, massage, icebath, acupuncture, breathing exercises, PEDs, etc. Granted, they aren't chasing wellbeing, but I have found anecdotally that the first 5 sauna sessions seem to hold more recovery potential and mental relaxation than the 30th over a 12 week training block.
I'd agree with that. An example for me would be narrative development of life story.
There is some evidence to show that people who have a clear narrative of who they are, what they have done and so on have better wellbeing. But, this is not something you need to do daily, might be once a year you reflect for a couple of weeks on it.
